Services
Our services can be contracted on a time and material basis or according to project requirement milestones. For sake of efficiency and best results we strongly recommend a partnership and our services to be contracted from start to end:
Requirement gathering
We will facilitate a Supply chain and Warehouse management requirements workshop with your team. During these workshops we will document the requirements using the partners documentation preference to ensure we all work towards achieving the same goals.
Solution architecture
Once the requirement gathering has been completed the following designs will be done:
- System business processes,
- Supply chain processes and costs associated with every voyage leg,
- Total landed cost calculation and how to calculate the base cost price of a product,
- Outbound flow of stock out of the warehouse,
- Load building strategies,
- Labels to support inbound, outbound and inventory operations,
- Quality control process,
- Cycle counting strategies,
- Inventory processes, and
- Device selection workshops.
Conference room pilots
We strongly believe that until the subject matter experts have not seen the system, it is extremely difficult for them to relate to the system processes that was discussed during the requirements gathering workshops.
As the solution is configured with demo customer data, SupplyGenix will demonstrate the solution to the subject matter experts. During these demonstration processes uncertainties and design decisions will be finalised.
Test scenarios
We request our clients to document test scenarios that will help us to validate that we have not missed any of the requirements that was documented during the requirements workshops.
Once the test scenarios have been documented, our team will do the following:
- Document the system processes for the scenario,
- Document the system steps per process, and
- Record the system steps.
Training
There are a multitude of challenges when training warehouse workers, hence a well thought through process is required. We understand the challenges and we will assist our technology partners and clients in developing a detailed training plan that includes super-user and end-user training. The success of the project depends on successful training.
Assistance with user acceptance testing
SupplyGenix will assist technology partners configuring a user-acceptance testing environment with a full set of data during mock Go-Live. Once the user-acceptance environment has been configured, we thoroughly test the test scenarios and configure the prerequisites for the test scenarios to assist super users to test the various scenarios.
Go-live activities
During the project we will assist our technology partners in identifying Go-Live activities. We work together with our technology partners and customers, to identify who will be responsible for Go-Live activities.
Post go-live support
A newly implemented system is new and unfamiliar to the users and issues may occur that may create a negative view of the system which must be prevented, hence prompt and effective maintenance and support to the new system and users will be key for the acceptance and success of the system. Although SupplyGenix will assist in post Go-Live support, we will work together with our technology partners and customers to develop a self-sustainable post Go-Live plan to empower our customers to support the solution without the ongoing assistance and support of SupplyGenix or other consultants.
